M.A.D D.O.G Crew

The first night of the youth revival was a success!! Our youth showed up with their sports jerseys on, raring to go for Jesus. Marc and I arrived in our Mickey attire representing the "Mouse" with pride. Brother Benjamin spoke about King David and being part of the M.A.D - D.O.G Crew ( Making a Difference and Depending on God ). His text came from Proverbs 3:5-6 . Our Worship Leader of the evening was our very own Sis. Nicki and she became an important part of Bro. Benjamin's sermon. She was asked to be the interview person for King David ( Bro. Benjamin ). He talked to the youth about serving God in the capacity that had been created for them. He shared with them how King David was the original rapper ( you have heard of the book of "Psalms" in the bible ) but that his rap was for God. He gave his own personal testimony about being the son of a single mother and despite some hard times growing up, God has kept him and has carried him a mighty long way. He imparted to the youth that they should depend on God and that he would direct their path. That they are special in God's sight , and that the adults need to remember this and lift them up and not tear them down. We ended the evening on a high note and Sis. Nicki reminded us that we had only heard Part I and that we must return tomorrow night for the conclusion.
