The second night of Youth Revival was powerful. Pastor Ricky talked about "Living On The Edge". How the youth ( and us adults ) live in a world on edge ( Numbers 20:1-14 &17-18 ) . However he wanted us to know that living on the edge can be a good news thing. If you are on the edge headed for a breakthrough in Christ. The youth of GMZ showed out in their Green T's and showed off through dance and song for the lord. We were blessed to have several friends and family members show up to support Pastor Ricky and Marc. Our special friend Rev-Rev ( as he is lovingly called by our children ) tickled the ivories of the old organ. Pastor Ricky told us that sometimes our children are on the edge and need just a little push to get them to where Christ wants them to be. He reminded them that God has a purpose for their life and that we all need to nurture that so that years down the line we will produce doctors, lawyers, artist, etc that will be living what God has ordained for their life and not what some "idol" may have said to them in a rap song. We want a NeXt Generation of doer's for Christ, not someone who is looking to take folks out because he may lack true joy in his own life.
