In an effort to continue the theme of “God’s Big Backyard” and to reach out into the community we are preparing for our annual back to school party on August 16th at 12 Noon. Our “Backyard Block Party” will include music, games, crafts, food and fun for the whole family. It will also include a service project that we all can participate in. This year we are asking for backpacks and school supplies that will be distributed to a local elementary school. For the next several weeks a container will be placed in the front vestibule along with a list of school supplies. We are asking everyone who can to please donate to this cause. It’s time to reach beyond our own backyard!
